What a wonderful experience we had here. We started with the vegetable samosas which were devine . The hubby and I shared the beef and pork. The meats were delicately flavored and so tender. The meal comes with a pumpkin puree and very tasty fries. We so full but we shared a desert and no regrets about it. If you’re a chocolate fan, the (moelleux au chocolat) chocolate cake with ice cream is not to be missed. It’s a one man show but somehow he gets everything done. A very kind host. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

A real gem of a restaurant, La Table des Salines in Gosier. From the moment you step inside, Joël welcomes you with a warmth that instantly sets the tone. The refined setting, adorned with vibrant Beninese art, envelops you. Special mention goes to the famous « king’s throne »… an irresistible touch that sets the tone!

While our barbecue was being prepared, we were invited into an absolutely charming little lounge. And there, a tradition too often forgotten was reborn: a truly authentic Ti’ Punch, accompanied by generous, fragrant, and frankly delicious vegetable samosas.

At our table, we opted for the mixed meat and fish dishes to experience everything. And what a brilliant idea: each piece is marinated differently, each flavor shines through, each ingredient sings. The sea bream, for its part, isn’t just good… it’s absolutely divine. And that purée… well, we’ll leave that as a surprise. Go and taste it; it speaks for itself.

Joël knows his menu by heart, has mastered the side dishes, the cooking techniques, and even the drinks that bring a smile to your face. Everything flows smoothly, warmly, and convivially, with quick and impeccable service.

We’ll be back, that’s for sure. Because it’s exactly what we love: a place where you eat well, where you feel good, and where you leave wanting to return again and again.
